FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN (29 degrees 4:01 pm PDT)

This is the closest Full Moon to Earth this year and may appear especially large. Also, this year, we experience a second Full Moon in Capricorn-Cancer, (Father - Mother) which is in hard aspect to Mars again. This could mean having another opportunity to choose between making a living and making a life and loving home. If you've initiated some changes in the last few weeks, you may feel more stable and content now. If not, the issues have become clearer, the warning signs larger and louder. You might ask yourself questions relating to what your inner parent may be telling you concerning work or home.

Mars has been in hard aspect to the last three Moon phases, pushing us to face the music and to compose our own lives. Once more, dilemmas come to the surface. Full Moons bring light to the dark - what has been in the shadow (the unconscious) - and thus offer us an excellent opportunity to see and clear issues, balance, integrate, and progess along our spiritual path.

When other planets join in aspect with the Full Moon, their energies and shadows are highlighted as well. Saturn at 1° Leo is less than two degrees from the Sun. What does Father Time have to say to the Lion? Have courage. Take heart. Be true to yourself. Watch where you fake or try to deceive yourself or others. There is no substitute for authenticity, sincerity, and integrity.

Saturn in Leo next to the Sun, makes it easier for us to see the consequences of our choices and to know whether we are creating from ego or from our core essence. Chiron in Aquarius in close aspect to the Full Moon, is urging us to break out of the cage of conformity and live according to the dictates of our heart.

This Full Moon phase advises us to trust our intuition and look for synchronicities- meaningful coincidences that tell us we are on the right path. Watch for the signs that steer you toward reclaiming the joy and honor of being alive. Intelligently and intuitively consider the effect of every decision and action. Each Full Moon reminds us of the seeds we may have coming to maturity, to their fullness, to fruition, to the place where the fruits or gifts are received. It may seem that fullfillment of our goals takes a long time. Some intentions may manifest within the two week phase prior to the next New or Full Moon. Some however, depending on their complexity, may take a much longer time. Just remember that our thoughts set Universal Action in motion and much work takes place behind the scenes as everything is orchestrated for fullfilment. Keep visualizing your goals as though you have already attained them and they will eventually manifest. Patience is required.

Full Moon Ceremony Find the time to have your own private Full Moon Ceremony. You have a three day window of energy in which to manifest your intentions. The day before, the day of, and through the day after the Full Moon.

Jot down two or three areas of your life you want to clean up. The Full Moon is the time to release or get rid of the things in your life that no longer serve you, so by the next New Moon your slate is clean for new beginnings, or furtile for the planting of new seeds.

Possible phrasing: I now release______ from my life. I now release my destructive ________ patterns. I now let go of fear, Jealosy, anger, envy, negative thinking, etc... Remember, think and envision as though you have already let go of what you have released. See yourself free from anything holding you back from your dreams. Thoughts are things and the brain manifests exactly what you show it in the form of thoughts and visuals about yourself. The Buddha said, and I am paraphrasing, "We are the sum total of our thoughts up to today. " If we want to be different then we must change our thoughts. "If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always got." CONSCIOUS CHANGE is the key.
