Close your eyes for a second and remember the happiest time of your life. Where are you, who are you surrounded by, what is it about yourself that makes you look at that time as the best time?

Most of us have these perfect moments which we look back on, wishing we could be as happy, healthy, inspired, fulfilled, prosperous, and creative. If only we could go back. Actually, we can. Not exactly like before, but better. I am talking about the complete, perfected version of yourself that existed at the time of Creation. The doors are now wide open for you to walk through to a brighter existence.

In his book, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, Deepak Chopra describes how to do this...

The Law Of Pure Potentiality

The source of all creation is pure consciousness…
pure potentiality seeking expression
from the unmanifest to the manifest.
And when we realize that our true Self
is one of pure potentiality, we align with the power
that manifests everything in the universe.

When we actively connect and vibrate in harmony with this power we begin to consciously attract into our life the people, places and things that align with the manifestation of our soul’s purpose. Spend time focusing on the feelings you were feeling at the happiest moment of your life. Focusing our thoughts and feelings on happiness brings us more happiness. Focusing on lack or fear or misery, brings more of the same. Focusing our thoughts and feelings on gratitude, for all the abundance and gifts we already have, attracts more to us even if we can only do this for a few minutes each day. Create a gratitude list when you are really feeling gratitude and keep adding to that list as you notice more and more things to be grateful for each day. It also helps to include things you are grateful for that you haven’t received yet. Then even when you are having trouble feeling gratitude if you take time to read the list it can help remind you of what you are already grateful for and what you are imagining you are grateful for as well. This simple practice helps to keep our vibrations high and our imagination focused on what we are desiring to manifest in our lives.

Remember to focus only on what you want and not on what you don't want or on current conditions that don't reflect your dreams. Pull out your paints and brushes and be the Artist of Your Mind!! Always remember that what you think about grows!!

FULL MOON IN Aries, Friday, October 6th at 08:13 pm PDT (14 degrees)

The Moon moves into Aries (where it remains until late on Oct 7 or early on Oct 8 depending on your time zone) opening the Aries Full Moon Window. This energy is encouraging us to take inspired decisive action to live our passion and commitment to our soul’s purpose. If you don’t know what your passion or purpose is then committing to action that will help you find your purpose is your next step.

The Aries Full Moon has the potential to bring to fruition some element of what you are committed to manifesting in your life especially when you are taking responsibility for your actions and are conscious of what motivates them. What it means is you refocus your energy - letting go of unproductive activities and associations and allow yourself to live in greater alignment with your soul’s intent.

Full Moons always bring light to the shadows. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, which represents the development of initiative and independence;the self. Its shadow is selfishness and aggression. Opposite of Aries on the Astrological Mandala is Libra where we seek balance and partnership: others. The dark side of Libra is the focus on appearance rather than substance, peace at any price, and the preoccupation with what others think. Like all air signs, Libra risks overreliance on the intellect and loss of connection with the body or feelings. Where the Sun at 14° Libra falls in our natal chart is where we are being asked to consider other points of view; where the Moon at 14° Aries falls is where we need to honor our differences. Where have things gotten out of balance? What agreements need to be clarified or renegotiated? How can we create a middle ground?

Venus, the mythic Goddess of Love and Beauty, and Mars, the God of War, are both in Libra and only five degrees on either side of the Sun, encouraging reconciliation and collaboration. The fact that Venus rules Libra and Mars rules Aries increases the influence of these two planets during this Full Moon. The Sun at the midpoint of Venus and Mars also stimulates creativity and passion. Opportunities for artistic inspirations and loving encounters continue as Venus and Mars remain within a few degrees of each other for the rest of the month. Neptune, the higher octave of Venus, trines the Sun, Venus, and Mars, further softening hearts and defenses. This is a time for discovering new options and sources of support.

The need to break away from social conventions and follow more natural rhythms is indicated now. Take some time out around this Full Moon and every day to go to a peaceful mental place where you can still your mind and just observe who you are and what surrounds you. Get in touch with your senses and as you leave your mind you more rapidly come to your senses! When you come out of the conditioned, limited and unaware mind your center of gravity naturally shifts to your heart.

PERSONAL MOON CEREMONY Find the time to have your own private Moon Ceremony. You have a three day window of energy in which to manifest your intentions. The day before, the day of, and the day after.

For the Full Moon, jot down two or three areas of your life you want to clean up. The Full Moon is the time to release or get rid of the things that no longer serve you, so by the next New Moon your slate is clean for new beginnings, or fertile for the planting of new seeds.

Possible phrasing: I now release______ from my life. I now release my destructive ________ patterns. I now let go of fear, jealousy, anger, envy, negative thinking, etc... Remember, think and envision as though you have already let go of what you have released. See yourself free and living your dreams. Thoughts are things and the brain manifests exactly what you show it in the form of thoughts and visuals about yourself. The Buddha said, and I am paraphrasing, "We are the sum total of our thoughts up to today. " If we want to be different then we must change our thoughts. What you think about grows!! "If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always got." CONSCIOUS CHANGE is the key.

A Full Moon symbolizes the fulfillment of the seeds planted at a previous New Moon or some earlier cycle. Each Full Moon reminds us of the seeds that may be coming to maturity, to their fullness, to fruition, to the place where the fruits or gifts are received. It may seem that fulfillment of our goals takes a long time. Some intentions may manifest within the two week phase prior to the next New or Full Moon. Some however, depending on their complexity, may take a much longer time. Just remember that our thoughts and emotions set Universal Action in motion and much work takes place behind the scenes as everything is orchestrated for fulfillment. Keep visualizing your goals as though you have already attained them and they will eventually manifest. Do not concern yourself with current conditions or worry about controlling it. The universe takes care of those details. Just keep seeing what you want and give no energy to what you don't want. Patience is required.

Reiki Mastery Training in Vista - NEW - My Mastery classes have been changed to reflect a new approach to give students additional options. There will now be 2 Master classes.   • Monday the 16th from 8:47 am to 2:00 pm.

I will be including Opportunity Periods in the updates from now on. These are a wonderful tool to maximize our efforts. Opportunity Periods reflect favorable aspects of the Moon. The energies of the Moon impact us in a very direct way. Using the positive energies that the Moon showers upon the Earth, to our benefit, makes good sense. Opportunity Periods have proven to provide helpful energy to non routine tasks. If you feel like you are always going against the grain and things are stressful, try using these time periods for more easily accomplishing important tasks: purchases, repairs, client appointments, sales calls, important phone calls, finishing goals, starting new projects, tying up loose ends, starting new relationships ( except when Venus is Retrograde), job hunting, doctor visits, family meetings, etc.

I personally use OPs and find them to be invaluable. I am happy to pass on this unique and useful information. Very few Astrologers are aware of OPs as the formula for their calculation is not widely known. This information will help you stay ahead of the game. A complete list for the year is available.
